LATNOVVA : Pioneering Sustainable Energy solutions
Who we are
LATNOVVA
LATNOVVA Limited (the ‘Company’) spearheaded the Brechin Castle Project, a groundbreaking initiative to harness renewable energy in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Company specialises in assembling and integrating large photovoltaic solar farms. Its portfolio encompasses the employing of cutting-edge solar technologies and the provision of services that span the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to planning, installation, and ongoing maintenance. It is dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions for reducing carbon emissions, enhancing energy security, and fostering economic growth.
The Company’s mission is to accelerate clean energy transitions in Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean, Central, and Latin American (‘LAC’) regions by capitalising upon indigenous, natural renewable energy resources that are inherently native to these regions. Our clean energy solutions will help create energy security and environmental stewardship within the countries we operate in.
Our Corporate Sustainability Model
The Company uses a sustainable corporate business model built upon the United Nations Global Compact (the ‘Compact’) and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (the ‘SDGs’).
Global consensus toward clean energy
The global consensus predicated by the Compact and the SDGs is necessary because countries can no longer advance their economic growth and development in the same manner as before (through rapid industrialisation using excessive fossil fuels) without also worsening society and the environment.
The Brechin Castle Project
The first of its kind and one of the largest solar farm initiatives in the region. This project results from a collaborative proposal led by Lightsource bp Renewable Energy Trinidad and Tobago and Shell Renewables Caribbean.
Partnership and Impact in Trinidad and Tobago
We have partnered with The Quantum Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting human rights, sustainable development and the global compact principles in Trinidad and Tobago. We have outsourced our business process to the Quantum Foundation.
The Future of Renewable Energy in Trinidad and Tobago
As we embark on this journey, LATNOVVA is committed to driving the renewable energy revolution in Trinidad and Tobago. Our vision extends beyond the Brechin Castle Project. With our partners and the local community, we aim to create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for all.
