Our Reach in Trinidad and Tobago and the Wider Caribbean
Since our founding, Quantum Medicinal has extended its services beyond Trinidad and Tobago, with the goal of expanding healthcare support throughout the wider Caribbean. The region faces significant challenges due to its dispersed geography, which complicates the distribution of medical supplies and the establishment of centralized healthcare services. We address these barriers by creating a responsive and adaptive supply chain designed to deliver essential healthcare solutions to even the most remote areas.
Our commitment to advancing global healthcare in the Caribbean has led us to form strategic alliances with regional and international partners. These partnerships enable us to respond effectively to urgent healthcare needs and promote sustainable healthcare practices across the islands.
Pan American Health Organization (PAHO)
We aim to partner with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to improve the health of millions worldwide by 2023. We will submit our data to show the world’s progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
Responding to the health needs of the world’s rising population of migrants and refugees necessitates an awareness of their health status and participation in public health policies and initiatives. The scarcity of data on the health of migrants and refugees challenges evidence-informed policy-making worldwide. Continued efforts in generating data, information-sharing, and applying research to guide evidence-based policies are key to building people-centered, inclusive health systems that protect and promote the health of these persons.
World Health Organization (WHO)
The COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted health systems, economies, and societies around the world, as well as much of Quantum Medicinal’s work to assist countries in meeting the “triple billion” targets of the 13th general program of work and the health targets of the SDGs. The globe is progressing at just about a fifth of the rate required to meet the SDG Health Targets by 2030.
Our mission is to form global health partnerships, networks, and alliances. Initiatives have been established to raise the visibility of an unmet need, support coordination, provide financial assistance to countries, and/or provide common platforms for working together by combining the relative strengths of different stakeholders, including the public sector, private sector entities, nongovernmental organizations, philanthropic foundations to achieve the goals set by the WHO.
World Drug Report
We support and work with the UNODC (United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime), which has been working to reduce drug use, organized crime, corruption, and terrorism around the world. By addressing these risks and advancing peace and sustainable well-being as deterrents to them, Quantum Medicinal is dedicated to ensuring health, security, and justice for all. Showcasing our contribution to tackling the world’s drug problem. We prioritize prevention in discussions about the future direction of international drug policy. Quantum Medicinal seeks to engage in formulating and implementing drug policies at all levels, while also addressing the challenges and opportunities encountered in this context. These partnerships can facilitate evidence-based policymaking, ultimately leading to more effective drug policies that prioritize community welfare and save lives.
