AID FOR REFUGEES AND ASYLUM-SEEKERS

The Quantum Foundation, in partnership with the Themis Foundation of the Americas, Both foundations have been actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at supporting refugees from the Venezuelan community and victims of human trafficking. These ongoing activities have been crucial in providing essential assistance and advocating for the rights of vulnerable individuals in Trinidad and Tobago. 

Aims

To provide prompt and efficient legal aid to refugees, asylum seekers, and marginalized migrants, with a specific emphasis on instances of human trafficking and exploitation.

To improve the safety precautions for people who are being trafficked or who are already victims of it, including financial assistance and cooperation with police enforcement.

To inform and educate vulnerable migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers on their rights, the resources that are available to them for support, and how to spot and handle situations of exploitation.
